Northend Youth 4 Bertie Peacocks Youths 2 Saturday 23rd November 2013
This match was a classic with both teams showing a great desire to win. The game started at a ferocious pace with Northend closing Peacocks down very quickly, not allowing them time on the ball and forcing them back. It was from one of their pass backs that lead to Northend's first goal, when their last defender was closed down quickly he passed it back to his keeper who missed the ball and it went into the empty net to put Northend one up. Northend went further infront when Ciaran Martin won the ball in the Peacocks corner and crossed the ball to the back post were Sam Crawford coolly back-heeled into the bottom corner. Give credit to Bertie Peacocks they still played their fast flowing football and they and they pulled one back with a neat pass across the Northend goal were a Peacock player knocked it in. The ball went from end to end and both teams had chances to score more and it took a unbeliveable save from Curtis Wilson in the Northend goal to keep United infront when he pushed a shot from distance away from the top corner of his goal. Peacocks did draw level soon after when again a ball across the box led to a goal for Peacock. As the game went from end to end Cal O'Brien scored the goal of the game for Northend when he won the ball in the middle of the park and smashed a volley into the top corner of the Peacock's net to the delight of the large crowd just before half time. Half time score 2-1
The second half started as the first finished, with both teams cancelling each other out. However Northend started to get on top in the game with Lewis Hector and Cal O'Brien on the wings working really hard with their non-stop running and Ciaran Martin in midfield breaking up play and counter-attacking. Keelan Campbell and Ben Harkin were solid as a rock in defence for the Ballymena boys and with Sam Crawford and Conor McKillop never giving the Peacock defence a minute on the ball, it took a couple of great saves from the Peacock keeper to stop McKillop from putting Northend even further infront. As the minutes ticked away any team now could have scored but it was Northend who got the all important goal when after a succession of corners Jay McKeown put a ball into the crowded box with pace that forced the Peacock keeper to push into his goal and put Northend 4-2 infront. A few late corners from Peacocks had the Northend boys back to the wall but they seen the game out to win this great game. Credit goes to all the players from both teams who put on a great game of football. Full time score 4-2

Berties Little Ants 5 Northend Youth 0 Saturday 16th November 2013
This game was pretty even until Peacock's got their first goal midway through the first half, when Northend lost their shape and Peacock's added a few more goals before half time.
Northend made some changes at half time but they were still finding in difficult to hold on to the ball sometimes giving it away to easy. However there was an improvement when closing down Peacock's play and Northend were now creating more goal scoring opportunities and should have scored at least four times in the last ten minutes but for poor finishing the score line would of been different because Bertie Peacock went on to score more goals.

Dungiven Celtic Colts 4 Northend Youth 4 Saturday 9th November 2013
Northend U10s found themselves two goals down after seven minutes as they were finding it hard to settle and couldn't get into their rhythm in the first half. Half time score 2-0
The Wee Blues made a few changes at half time and it seemed to do the trick, with Jay McKeown now playing upfront and he pulled a goal back straight away. The same player then levelled the score a minute later. The game then went a bit crazy with both teams counter attacking at every opportunity and it was Dungiven who went infront again before Jay McKeown got his hat-trick to leve the scores again. Northend were now ell in control and Ciaran Martin got his first goal off the season when he scored in a goalmouth scramble. The Ballymena boys should have wrapped up the game with the chances that they created but with the last kick of the game, Dungiven scored again when the Northend players failed to close down the big Dungiven player at the edge of the box and he placed the ball into the net to break the hearts of the Northend players. Full time score 4-4
This was a fantastic second half performance from the Northend players who continue to improve week on week and who can dig deep when they need to.

Coleraine Olympic 5 Northend Youth 2 Saturday 2nd November 2013
This scoreline does not reflect the game with both teams even with chances being missed at both ends but it was Northend who went infront when Conor McKillop blasted home from close range, but Coleraine draw level when a Northend player tried to run through a ruck of Coleraine players only to lose the ball and it ended up in the net just before half-time. Half time score 1-1
In a ten minute spell Northend lost the plot when Coleraine second four goals in quick succession before they got back into the game with Jay McKeown scoring late for Northend. This was a great performance from all the boys who are really starting to gell together with some outstanding football being played. Full time score 5-2
